Alexandria Police Investigate Suspicious Death

Alexandria police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman in the 3000 block of Park Center Drive.  Today, around 11:55 p.m., police were called to 3001 Park Center Drive for the report of a deceased female.  Once officers arrived on the scene, the woman was pronounced dead.

The victim, whose identity is not being released pending notification of next of kin, suffered an injury to the upper body.  An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
