Virginia Foreclosure Prevention Task Force Presents Regional Mortgage Clinics
The Virginia Foreclosure Prevention Task Force is holding a series of free regional Mortgage Clinics throughout the Commonwealth during June. The Task Force, commissioned by Governor Tim Kaine in 2007, is working to protect and preserve homeownership for Virginia’s working families and to prevent future foreclosure problems.
The Mortgage Clinics will provide participants with general information on foreclosure prevention, as well as the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Virginia Housing Development Authority-certified housing counselors trained in loss mitigation. Sessions, in English and in Spanish, will be offered throughout the day between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
