City of Alexandria Presents TeensWork! Job Fair
Looking for a great job—or a great employee? Come to the TeensWork! Job Fair

The Mayor’s Youth Employment Initiative, in partnership with the TeensWork! Youth Employment Program, will hold its annual Youth Job Fair on Thursday, April 17 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the T.C. Williams High School Cafeteria, 3330 King St.

Many local employers, including the City of Alexandria Recreation Department, Coldstone Creamery, Home Depot, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, and Abercrombie and Fitch, will have representatives available to talk with job seekers and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Teens and young adults ages 16 to 21 can get information on or apply for both summer and full-time positions, and employers can get a jump on summer hiring or fill vacant year-round positions.

TeensWork! is an employment program for youth offering summer employment opportunities, vocational exploration, and job preparation workshops operated at the JobLink One-Stop Career Center. JobLink is a division of the Department of Human Services.

For more information about the Job Fair or the Mayor’s Youth Employment Initiative or TeensWork! call Lissette Pippy at 703.838.4316 or visit alexandriava.gov/joblink. For information about JobLink, contact Jan Schrader at 703.838.4316.
