To Accept Credit Card Payments for Classes and Camps

The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will pilot the use of Visa and Mastercard credit card payments for Web registration of classes and camps. Effective March 1, patrons with a current household ID may make credit card payments for classes offered during the winter session.   Individuals wishing to register for spring and summer classes and camps may also make credit card payments when registration opens for the spring session at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 17. A household ID is required for individuals to register for recreation classes and camps; those without a current household ID may request one by calling Chinquapin Park Recreation Center Program Office at 703.519.2160.

Patrons have several options for registration and payment.  Individuals wishing to register online can (1) continue to choose electronic check payments (eChecks), (2) drop off their registration and payments in person at the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, or (3) mail their registration to Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, 3210 King Street. Alexandria, VA, 22302.
Please be advised that credit card and eChecks payments may only be used for Web site transactions.

To request further assistance with the City’s online registration and payments process for recreation classes and camps, please call 703.519.2166 or visit alexandriava.gov/recreation
