AlexandriaPolice Investigate Shooting

 

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at the intersection of Seminary Road and North Beauregard Street.

 

At approximately 2:59 A.M., the victim, a 35 year-old Maryland man, was operating his taxi and stopped westbound on Seminary Road at the intersection with North Beauregard Street. An unknown suspect approached the vehicle and fired shots into the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The victim remains in critical condition following surgery.

 

The suspect is described as a white male driving a dark-colored SUV.
