Alexandria Police Seek Help to Identify Robbery Suspect

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in two robberies that occurred at two different 7-11 stores.  The robberies took place on October 29, 2007, and December 16, 2007.

On October 29, at approximately 1:43 A.M., the suspect entered the business, located at 3023 Duke Street.  He approached the clerk, brandished a firearm and demanded money.  The victim clerk complied and the suspect then fled from the business with an undisclosed amount of money.  There were no injuries

On December 16, at approximately 5:50 A.M., the suspect entered the business, located at 5725 Edsall Road.  He brandished a firearm and removed money from the cash register.  The suspect then fled.  There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 30 years-old, 6'00" to 6’ 01”.  He was last seen wearing a dark knit cap and a dark nylon quilted jacket. 

Detectives would like to remind witnesses that they can remain anonymous. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Detective Chris Whelan at the Criminal Investigations Section of the Alexandria Police Department at 703.838.4897.
