Alexandria Police Seek Help to Identify Robbery Suspect

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect of a robbery that occurred on October 17, 2007, at the Inns of Virginia located at 99 South Bragg Street.

At approximately 5:25 A.M., a suspect entered the business, approached the clerk and demanded money.  The victim clerk complied and the suspect then fled from the business with an undisclosed amount of money.  There were no injuries

The suspect is described as a black male, 35 to 45 years-old, approximately 6'0" tall, 150 to 160 lbs. with several missing teeth.  He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket with burgundy sleeves. 

Detectives would like to remind witnesses that they can remain anonymous. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Section of the Alexandria Police Department at 703.838.4897.
