Alexandria Transit Company (DASH) to Hold Public Hearing on January 31

The Alexandria Transit Company (DASH) will hold a public hearing on the 2009 Transit Development Program and Budget at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 31 in the Sister Cities Conference Room 1101, City Hall, 301 King St.

The proposed change under consideration is an increase in the DASH peak period fare from $1 to $1.25.  Off-peak and weekend fares are proposed to remain at $1; the rail-to-bus transfer is proposed to remain at 35¢; and the price of the monthly DASH Pass is proposed to remain at $30.
