Alexandria Police Investigate Missing Person Case

Alexandria police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who was reported missing on January 8. Oscar Armando Rivera-Montano was last seen on Saturday, January 5, in the West End of Alexandria.

Rivera-Montano lives with family members in the 700 block of North Ripley Street. He was last seen leaving the residence at approximately 4:00 P.M. He told family members he was going for a walk, but did not return. His family contacted police on January 8 to report him missing. Rivera-Montano has only lived in Alexandria since November 2007 and is not familiar with areas beyond his immediate neighborhood.

Oscar Armando Rivera-Montano is described as a 52-year-old Hispanic male, 5’05” tall, 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, blue jeans, a black hoodie or sweater and black sneakers.
