The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 10 at 6 p.m., in the George Mason High School Auditorium, 7124 Leesburg Pike in Falls Church, to solicit feedback on future transportation projects planned for the City and the region. The NVTA is requesting specific input on its proposed initial Six Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2008 to 2010.
The projects included in NVTA’s plan are a mix of highway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and multimodal. It also includes funding for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and the Virginia Railway Express.

The public is invited to provide feedback on these projects at the public hearing on January 10. NVTA will begin hearing comments at 6 p.m. Individuals may speak for a maximum of three minutes and organizations may speak for a maximum of five minutes.
