UPDATE: Alexandria Commission for the Arts Schedules Community Dialogue with the Janus Development Group

The City of Alexandria's Commission for the Arts has scheduled a Community Dialogue on Tuesday, September 18 at 6 pm. The meeting location has been moved to the City Council Workroom located in City Hall, 301 King St. The purpose of the dialogue is to solicit public input on the results of the "Lord Report." Lord Cultural Resources, a consultancy firm, worked with the Commission for the Arts to assess its structure and create a vision for the arts in Alexandria. Jan Day Gravel, president of Janus Development Group, will facilitate the dialogue.

Persons who are unable to attend the community dialogue can send written comments to the Alexandria Commission for the Arts in care of the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, Attn.: Cheryl Anne Colton, 1108 Jefferson St., Alexandria, VA 22314, or by email at cherylanne.colton@alexandriava.gov.
