Alexandria Police Investigate Missing Person Case

Alexandria police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who was reported missing on August 4, 2007. Robert Fike was last seen on Thursday, August 2, in the West End of Alexandria.

Mr. Fike lives with family members in an apartment in the 5500 block of Holmes Run Parkway. He was last seen on August 3 at 8:48 A.M. His family contacted police on August 4 to report him missing. He frequents the Holmes Run Bike Trail that runs between Skyline and Eisenhower Avenue.

Robert Fike is described as a 34 year-old white male, 5’10”, 160 lbs. to 165 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap with a red brim, a blue long-sleeve shirt and khaki-colored knee length shorts. He was carrying a black backpack and may be wearing glasses. His family reports that he has been depressed over the past year, but is not currently taking medication.
