FINANCE DEPARTMENT’S SATURDAY HOURS CHANGED

Since most taxpayers no longer have to come to City Hall to pay their taxes, and fewer taxpayers come to City Hall on Saturdays to pay taxes or to register their vehicles, as a budget and efficiency step, the City has eliminated the Finance Department’s extended hours on the second Saturday of each month. However, the Finance Department’s offices will remain open on the Saturday immediately before major tax deadlines: the personal property tax due date (October 5), the second half real estate tax due date (November 15) and the first half real estate tax due date (June 15).
