Wine and Cheese Silent Auction Event to Benefit Walk to Fight Breast Cancer

The public is invited to attend the 3rd annual Wine-and-Cheese Silent Auction event, hosted by Women Mean Business to benefit Alexandria’s Walk to Fight Breast Cancer. The event will be held on Thursday, June 21, at the Campagna Center, located at 418 South Washington Street, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Guests will enjoy free refreshments from businesses such as Stone Mountain Vineyards, Cheestique, and Trattoria Da Franco. Michael Yugo, a local musician who plays acoustic rock, will provide musical entertainment.

The highlight of the event is a silent auction that features items such as oriental carpets and original art, tickets to professional sporting events, a day of sailing on the Chesapeake Bay, and weekend lodging and a winery tour at Stone Mountain Vineyards.

Tickets are available for $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door. Only cash or checks are accepted for payment. Checks should be made payable to “Walk Fund 07” and mailed to Donna Udvari, Burke & Herbert Bank, PO Box 268; Alexandria, VA 22314. For further information, call 703.838.5030 or 703.550.4949.
