Alexandria and Arlington County Publish Reuse Directory
Encouraging Reuse of Consumer Goods and Building Materials

The City of Alexandria and Arlington County are pleased to announce the publication of a Reuse Directory. The Directory is the product of the Reuse Network, a group of for-profit and nonprofit reuse organizations in Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

The Directory lists contact information and website addresses for more than 30 companies and organizations that collect and either donate or re-sell consumer goods, such as books, furniture, clothing, household items, bicycles and building materials. The brochure also includes tips for ensuring donations to these entities will be put to good use.
