Mayor Euille Invites Public To Attend Pandemic Influenza Town Hall Meeting
Event To Be Held At Francis C. Hammond Middle School

The public is invited to join Mayor William D. Euille and members of the Alexandria City Council for a Pandemic Influenza Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, May 30, at 7 p.m. in the Francis C. Hammond Middle School Auditorium.


Mayor William D. Euille, City officials, and healthcare professionals will provide an overview of the characteristics of influenza pandemic and how individuals and families can prepare for this and other potential emergencies. Attendees will learn how to become part of preparedness actions already underway in the City
. A question and answer session will follow remarks and attendees will be provided an opportunity to sign up for a future train-the-trainer session that will prepare them to make presentations in the community about pandemic preparedness.

The program is free and refreshments will be served. Francis C. Hammond Middle School is located at 4646 Seminary Road. Ample free parking is available behind the school.
