CANDLELIGHT VIGIL TO BE HELD AT MARKET SQUARE
ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18

Virginia Tech, National Capital Region will hold a candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the tragic events that took place on April 16 at the university’s main campus in Blacksburg. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Market Square, located in front of City Hall, 301 King St. The ceremony is open to the public.

Virginia Tech, with locations throughout the Northern Virginia region, has a research center and a graduate program center located in Old Town, Alexandria. “Virginia Tech is an intricate part of the Alexandria community and the City offers its support to the faulty, staff, and students coping with this tragic event,” said Mayor William D. Euille. “ I encourage everyone to show up at Market Square in support of the Hokie Nation.”
