City of Alexandria Invites Public to Attend Forum To Discuss
Local and Regional Transportation Initiatives on Thursday, April 19

Alexandria’s Mayor William D. Euille and City Council members are inviting the public to attend a forum to discuss local and regional transportation initiatives. The transportation forum will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) Madison Building Auditorium, located at 600 Dulany St. During the event, transportation representatives from local, state, and regional agencies will share information with the community on local and regional transportation efforts.

Steve Eldridge, columnist of
The Examiner’s “Sprawl and Crawl,” will serve as moderator for the forum. Local, state, and regional representatives who will address expected travel/mobility conditions in the region, key regional issues during the next decade, and upcoming projects/initiatives of regional significance include:
