CITY OF ALEXANDRIA CANCELS ALL FEBRUARY 25 EVENING ACTIVITIES

Due to inclement weasther, all City of Alexandria activities scheduled for this evening have been cancelled, including the Office of Historic Alexandria’s Tea with Martha Washington scheduled to begin at 3 p.m., at Gadsby Tavern.

All City of Alexandria Recreation Centers, scheduled to open at 12:00 noon, will be closed today. The Chinquapin Center will close at 2 p.m.

The Charles E. Beatley Jr. Central Library, located at 5005 Duke Street, and the Kate Waller Barrett Library, located at 717 Queen Street, scheduled to open at 1 p.m., will be closed today.
