MAYOR EUILLE ANNOUNCES MARCH 1 TOWN HALL MEETING

The public is invited to join Mayor William D. Euille and members of the Alexandria City Council for a Town Hall Meeting on March 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.

A Town Hall question-and-answer session will follow remarks by Mayor Euille about the state of the city and a presentation by a representative of the Mayor's Economic Sustainability Work Group. Members of the City Council will participate in the Town Hall session, which will be held in the Memorial's historic Theatre.

Various City of Alexandria departments will be on hand following the program to provide information about volunteer opportunities throughout the City. Volunteerism is a primary theme of Mayor Euille's State of the City presentation for 2007.

The program is free, and refreshments will be served. The memorial is located at 100 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22301. Ample free parking is available.

The March 1 Town Hall Meeting will follow Mayor Euille's February 23 State of the City presentation to a special breakfast meeting of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
