Alexandria Death Ruled Homicide
Alexandria police believe the woman found deceased inside a dumpster Saturday morning was the victim of a homicide. The woman is a white female, believed to be in her early 20’s.
Police responded to the rear of an apartment building in the 5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway at 10:17 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, and found the victim dead inside a dumpster. An autopsy performed today determined the manner of death to be homicide and the cause of death to be blunt force trauma.
Detectives are continuing the investigation.
