Alexandria Police Investigating Suspicious Death
Alexandria police are investigating the suspicious death of a female whose body was found in a dumpster this morning in the West End. At 10:17 a.m., police were called to the 5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway after someone reported finding the body in a trash dumpster outside a high-rise apartment building.
Detectives are on the scene, canvassing the area in search of possible witnesses.
The victim’s identity and age are not yet known. The medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
