FREE DASH SHUTTLE SERVICE OFFERED IN OLD TOWN
FOR FIRST NIGHT ALEXANDRIA EVENTS ON NEW YEAR’S EVE
All Other Bus Routes Will Operate on Normal Sunday Schedule

The Alexandria Transit Company will offer free DASH shuttle bus service for “First Night Alexandria” events on New Year’s Eve, Sunday, Dec. 31, in addition to regular bus service on all other routes. The free DASH service will begin at 5 p.m. and end at 1 a.m.

“DASH has become a vital part of the First Night Alexandria festivities,” said DASH General Manager Sandy Modell. “We will continue our tradition of safely shuttling our riders as they enjoy the many dynamic activities available throughout the evening.”

Two shuttle lines will serve the First Night Alexandria venue locations. The King Street shuttle line will operate between the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, located at 101 Callahan Drive, and Market Square. The Del Ray line will operate between Del Ray and the King Street Metro Station. All other bus routes will operate on a normal Sunday schedule.
