CITY OF ALEXANDRIA ANNOUNCES 2006 SCHEDULE
FOR OLD TOWN HOLIDAY CONCERTS

Visitors to Alexandria’s Old Town can get into the holiday spirit as they enjoy the festive sounds of the season while they shop and dine. The City’s 2006 Holiday Concert Schedule features a variety of music, including traditional and contemporary holiday music, big band sounds, choirs, handbell ringers and old-fashioned caroling by local performers.

All performances are held at Market Square at City Hall, 301 King Street, unless otherwise noted.

Visitors to the historic district are encouraged to take Metrorail’s Yellow or Blue lines to the King Street Station in Old Town. Alexandria’s DASH transit operates the free DASH About shuttle service between Market Square and the King Street Station from 7 pm to midnight on Friday, 10 am to Midnight on Saturday, and 11 am to 10 pm on Sunday.
