CITY OF ALEXANDRIA SCHEDULES OCTOBER 30 COMMUNITY MEETING
ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO MINNIE HOWARD ATHLETIC FIELD

The public is invited to attend a community meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the athletic field at the Minnie Howard Ninth Grade Center and Secondary School, located at 3801 West Braddock Road. The meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, at the athletic field bleachers. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be held in the school’s Media Center.

At the meeting, Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities staff will present plans for athletic field renovation that include the installation of an infill-synthetic turf field system.
