Outside Summer Cinema Returns to Alexandria
City’s Third Annual Outdoor Film Festival Scheduled
Friday, July 28, through Sunday, July 30, at Ben Brenman Park


Free summer cinema will return to Alexandria next weekend with the third annual Outdoor Film Festival at Ben Brenman Park, 5000 Duke St.

Following is the 2006 film schedule:

Friday, July 28 – “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”
Saturday, July 29 – “Madagascar”
Sunday, July 30 – “Cheaper by the Dozen 2”

Admission is free. Vendors and area restaurants will be on hand to sell popcorn, homemade lemonade, and other food items beginning at 7 pm. A portion of the proceeds earned will benefit The Child & Family Network Centers. All movies begin at approximately 8:30 pm (at dark).

Guests may bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on.

Coolers and outside food items are welcome.

In the event of rain, the evening’s film showing will be cancelled.

The Outdoor Film Festival is cosponsored by the City of Alexandria and Comcast. For more information, call the Special Events Office at 703.838.4844.
