Alexandria Police Seek Identity of Subject;
Man Seen Using Credit Card Stolen in Robbery

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was seen using a credit card taken in a robbery in Alexandria.

Just before midnight on April 18, 2006, someone robbed a 31-year-old Alexandria man at knifepoint. The suspect took the victim’s wallet in the 1200 block of North Henry Street and then fled. The victim was not injured.

About an hour and a half later, an unidentified subject used the victim’s credit card at a 7-Eleven along Crain Highway in Upper Marlboro, Md. Police are attempting to identify this man and are releasing photos and video from the 7-Eleven, taken around 1:30 a.m. on April 19. He is wanted for questioning in connection with the robbery.

The subject is described as a black male, 18 to 25 years old, about 5-feet 9-inches to 6-feet tall with a medium build. He has a thin mustache, a medium complexion and was wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket with a hood.
