Temporarily Experiences Phone Service Outage
Shelter Hopes Phone Service Can Be Restored By Early this Afternoon

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria/Vola Lawson Animal Shelter temporarily experienced an outage of phone service late night on Saturday, May 20. Verizon is currently working to fix the problem as quickly as possible, and the shelter hopes to have phone service restored by early this afternoon, Monday, May 22.

The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is located at the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter, 4101 Eisenhower Ave. The center is open Monday through Friday from noon to 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
