City of Alexandria and Commuter Connections Host
A Presentation for Business Owners
Business Continuity in the Event of Disasters

The City of Alexandria and Commuter Connections will host a presentation for business owners on how to keep businesses productive during an emergency crisis through commute and telework strategies. The presentation will take place on Thursday, May 18, from 8:30 to 10:30 am at the Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson St., in Gold Room One.

Industry experts on emergency management will discuss ways to achieve business continuity in the event of disasters. Presenters will discuss emergency planning, how telework can improve the bottom line, and the Telework!VA program, which offers businesses up to $35,000 to start a telework program. Admission is free.

The City of Alexandria, Commuter Connections, the American Red Cross - Alexandria Chapter, and the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership are sponsoring the event.
