City of Alexandria and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Cosponsor Third Annual Middle School Career Fair


The City of Alexandria and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., the Nu Xi Zeta Chapter, will cosponsor the Third Annual Middle School Career Fair on Saturday, April 22, from 7 to 10:30 pm at the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, 3210 King St. The event is free, and the City invites sixth through eighth grade students to attend.

During the event, students will meet and talk with professionals in the fields of law, broadcasting, health care, science, and education. The American Red Cross, the Alexandria Campaign on Adolescent Pregnancy, the FBI, the City’s JobLink, and the Alexandria Community Services Board as well as other nonprofit organizations will be present.

There will be goodie bags given to the first 100 individuals attending, prize drawings, and other activities, including music, dancing on the pool deck, swimming, wallyball, video games, and refreshments.

Attendees must have a school or recreation center identification card, or an official school document to be admitted.
