Alexandria Police Identify Homicide Victim
Alexandria police have identified the victim of last night’s fatal shooting as Lee Timmons, a 50-year-old Alexandria man. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Timmons and two other men were shot on April 2, around 8 p.m., inside an apartment in the 400 block of South Columbus Street. Timmons was dead at the scene. The other victims, Alexandria men ages 19 and 57, were transported by helicopter to Inova Fairfax Hospital where they remain in critical condition.
A motive and the exact circumstances of the triple shooting remain under investigation.
