Alexandria Death Ruled Homicide
Alexandria police believe the man found deceased inside a car early this morning was the victim of a homicide. He has been identified as 41-year-old Mustafa Aburanat of Annandale.
Police responded to the 300 block of South Whiting Street just before 3 a.m. today and found the victim dead inside a parked car. An autopsy determined the manner of death to be homicide and the cause of death to be a gunshot wound.
A motive for the murder has not yet been determined and investigation is continuing.
