Alexandria Police Investigate Suspicious Death
Alexandria police are investigating the suspicious death of a 41-year-old Annandale man early this morning.
At 2:56 a.m. today, officers were called to the 300 block of South Whiting Street for the report of an injured man. Officers found the victim deceased inside a parked car. He appears to have been shot.
Police secured the scene and conducted a canvass of the area to try to locate potential witnesses.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
