City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities
Sponsors Saturday Night Hype - Mardi Gras Time Party for Teens

The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will sponsor a Saturday Night Hype - Mardi Gras Time party on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 8 - 11:30 pm at the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, 3210 King St. The event is free and all ninth through twelfth grade residents are invited to attend.

Activities include video games featuring Dance Dance Revolution, swimming, dancing, and wallyball. Free refreshments will be offered. Participants must have either a school identification card, a Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities identification card, or an official school document for admission.

Saturday Night Hype parties are City-sponsored, age-appropriate events that are specifically designed for teens.
