City of Alexandria Hosts Community Events
In Celebration of Black History Month


The City of Alexandria will host several community events at its neighborhood recreation centers in celebration of Black History Month as February comes to a close. All events are free and open to the public:

Celebrating Life: A Special Tribute To Mrs. Helen Miller
Thursday, Feb. 23
7 - 9 pm
Lee Center’s Richard Kauffman Auditorium, 1108 Jefferson St.
Refreshments will be served.
The event is cosponsored by the Charles Houston and Nannie J. Lee Recreation Centers.
