Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross Presents
City Department with 2005 Good Neighbor Award

The Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross has presented the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities with the 2005 Good Neighbor Award. The award recognizes the City department for providing health, safety, and community service opportunities through its after school recreation centers, the Power-Up Program’s Red Cross Clubs, and the 2005 Summer Playgrounds Program's disaster preparedness activities. The Alexandria Chapter of the American Red Cross annually presents the award to community members and groups that assist the Alexandria Red Cross in a significant way.
