City of Alexandria Hosts Annual Family Fall Festival

The City of Alexandria's Family Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Armistead L. Boothe Park, 520 Cameron Station Blvd. The festival features a variety of family activities, entertainment, exhibits, food and beverage. Admission is free, and the festival will be held rain or shine.
  • Family activities include scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, pony and hay rides, moon bounce, and bouncy boxing.
  • Entertainment includes the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, Beale Street Puppet Theater, Jay Armsworthy and Eastern Tradition.
  • Exhibitors include the Alexandria Fire Department, the Alexandria Police Department Bicycle Safety Team, Smokey the Bear, and karate demonstrations by United Studios of Self-Defense.

Armistead L. Boothe Park is located at the western end of Cameron Station adjacent to the Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School. The park entrance is near the intersection of Edsall Rd. and Pickett St.
