City of Alexandria Announces Closing Schedule
For Annual Maintenance of Recreation Centers

The City of Alexandria is announcing the following schedule of recreation center closings for annual maintenance:

Charles Barrett Recreation Center – 1115 Martha Custis Drive, 703.838.4818,
Aug. 29 - Sept. 2

Chinquapin Park Recreation Center – 3210 King St., 703.519.2160, 3 pm on Sept. 5 and will remain closed through Sept. 12

Charles Houston Recreation Center – 901 Wythe St., 703.838.4814, Aug. 29 - Sept. 5

Cora Kelly Recreation Center – 25 W. Reed Ave., 703.838.6464, Aug. 22 - Aug. 26

Mount Vernon Recreation Center – 2701 Commonwealth Ave., 703.838.4825, 6 pm on
Sept. 2 and will remain closed through Sept. 5

Nannie J. Lee Memorial Recreation Center – 1108 Jefferson St., 703.838.4345, Aug. 23 - Aug. 28

Patrick Henry Recreation Center – 4643 Taney Ave., 703.519.3390, Aug. 24 - Aug. 26

William Ramsay Recreation Center – 5650 Sanger Ave., 703.838.4826, Aug. 29 - Sept. 5
