Alexandria Launches Aggressive Paving Program

The City of Alexandria will launch an aggressive paving program with plans to resurface 50 miles of City streets. Paving is already underway in some areas. The paving will take place throughout the City on streets ranging from North Quaker Lane to Eisenhower Avenue to Union Street.

Paving 30 miles a year is considered normal and spring paving was completed on several blocks ranging from Pitt Street to Howard Street.
