Alexandria City Council Recognizes Dimensions International Inc.

The Alexandria City Council presented a proclamation to Dimensions International Inc. at the June 28 Council meeting. The proclamation recognizes the company for contributing to the fields of information technology, logistics, airspace management and technology integration along with its success and growth.

Dimensions International Inc. is a leading supplier and developer of Flight Explorer, a PC-based Internet application for use by the airline industry to monitor and track flights. Two of the company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries, the SENTEL Corporation and Flight Explorer, produced sales figures grossing nearly $150 million last year.

Dimensions International Inc. was recently named the “2005 Company of the Year” by Black Enterprise Magazine for its outstanding achievements at the magazine’s 10th Annual Entrepreneurs Awards Gala Dinner in May. It operates 27 offices around the world including Alexandria.
