City of Alexandria Announces July Summer Concerts Schedule


The City of Alexandria’s Summer Concert Series is underway. All concerts are free and open to the public. The fun continues in July with the following schedule:

The Lunch Bunch Concerts
Canal Plaza
66 Canal Plaza
Wednesdays at 12 pm

July 13- David Andrew Smith, rock, jazz, reggae, pop
July 20- Siobhan Quinn, folk Celtic, blues


Music at Twilight Concerts
Fort Ward Park Amphitheater
4301 West Braddock Rd.
Thursdays at 7:30 pm

July 14- Alexandria Citizens Bands, traditional concert band
July 21- Liz Briones, funky blues and R&B
July 28- Harmonizers, barbershop music


Waterfront Park Concerts
Waterfront Park
Strand Street, on the waterfront between Prince and King Streets
Mondays at 7 pm

July 11- Midnight Flyer Band, classic rock and oldies
July 18- Live Action Hero, pop and classic rock
July 25- Lump Dog, rock & roll

The performance schedule is subject to change without notice and all events will canceled in the case of inclement weather. The Summer Concert Series offers a great way for individuals to experience the outdoors with enjoyable entertainment.
