Twelve Alexandria Employees Honored for Work
On U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Project

Twelve Alexandria employees were honored recently by the City Council for their key role in the planning and development of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) project. The employees were honored with a City Stars Award, an employee of the month award. “The City Council commends these employees for ensuring that the USPTO project remained on track for completion despite the magnitude and the various agencies involved in the three-year project,” said Mayor William D. Euille.

The City employees who were honored are: Code Enforcement Bureau staff – Arthur D. Dahlberg, Al Cox, Peter Mensinger, James Sullivan, Mary Johnson, Duane Perry; A. Maurice Jones, Joseph Blethen, Lynn Hepler, Paul Mitchell, Keena Keith, Ray Overkott, and Donald Mackally; and Transportation and Environmental Services staff – Sarah Caron, Antonio Arnold, and Kathy Connett.

For more information on the group or the City Stars program, call Henry Howard, Director of the City’s Department of Personnel Services, at 703.838.4425.
