Open House Meetings Scheduled in Alexandria, Arlington
On Four Mile Run Restoration Project

The City of Alexandria and Arlington County have embarked on a process to create a Master Plan for the restoration of the lower section of Four Mile Run. The initial design concepts for the Master Plan, which incorporate public input from recent meetings and workshops will be available for review by the public at two open houses. Each open house is identical.

Saturday, April 16: 9:30 am - 12 pm
Drew Model School, 3500 23rd St. south, Arlington
[Directions: From Glebe Rd. south, make a right onto 24th Rd. south. Bear right to stay on 24th Rd., then make a left onto 23rd St. south.]
9:30 - 10:15 am -Viewing the alternatives - Browse facilitated stations on the design alternatives
10:15 - 11 am - Presentation on the design alternatives and discussion
11 - 12 pm - Viewing the alternatives - Browse facilitated stations (continued)

[Directions: From W. Glebe Rd. (past the intersection of Mt. Vernon Ave.), turn left at the light onto Commonwealth Ave. Stay on Commonwealth Ave. past the intersection with Reed Ave. Turn left into the parking lot in front of the school.]
