Alexandria Park and Recreation Commission
Seeks Nominations for 2005 Service to the Community Award

The Alexandria Park and Recreation Commission is seeking nominations for the 2005 Service to the Community Award. The annual program recognizes an outstanding resident, group, club, organization, or corporation for providing valuable service to the local community on recreation, park or cultural needs. Nominations for the award must be submitted by Wednesday, June 1, and can be hand delivered or mailed to: Chair, Park and Recreation Commission; Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities; 1108 Jefferson St.; Alexandria, Virginia 22314; or faxed to 703.838.6344.

Nominees must be volunteers who have contributed time, talent or resources in an exemplary fashion.
