Alexandria Police Investigate Robbery at Virginia Commerce Bank

The Alexandria Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating an robbery that occurred today at the Virginia Commerce Bank at 1414 Prince in Alexandria. There were no injuries.

At approximately 3:51 p.m., a suspect entered the bank and approached a teller. The suspect demanded money and the victim teller complied. The suspect then fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5'8"- 5'10", and was wearing a black coat, black shirt and black pants.
