Shoppers DASH About Old Town
For Free This Holiday Season

Shopping in Old Town has never been easier with the free weekend DASH About holiday shuttle. Shoppers have no need to drive their cars to Old Town when they can DASH About instead. They can forget the holiday traffic and parking hassles and join the estimated 12,000 riders who will be using the DASH About service this holiday season.

The free DASH About service operates every 15 minutes between the King Street Metro Station and Market Square. Shoppers can hop on or off at any DASH bus stop along the King Street corridor. DASH About drivers will assist them in finding a particular shop or restaurant. A special holiday edition of the DASH About brochure is available on all buses. It provides a detailed, easy-to-read map of King Street between the King Street Metro Station and Market Square. Shoppers can also pick up a visitor brochure on the bus that highlights the extensive variety and number of shopping and dining options.

When shoppers ride the free weekend DASH About, they will never have to worry about parking. The DASH About runs every 15 minutes on Friday from 7 pm to midnight; Saturday from 10 am to midnight; and Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm through Dec. 31. DASH About stops are located every two blocks in each direction on King Street. The DASH About bus also stops across the street from Alexandria’s Ramsay House Visitors Center on the corner of King and Fairfax streets.

For more information on the DASH About and other DASH transit services, call 703.370.3274 or visit www.DASHbus.com.
