Original Keepsake Gift Items for Sale
As Part of City’s Holiday Program

Looking for the perfect gift or keepsake? Something that says “Alexandria” in its spirit and in its design? Look no more! The Alexandria Convention & Visitors Association (ACVA) has come up with three “must haves” for your holiday shopping list.

Patrons of more than 40 participating Alexandria shops can “Find Alex,” the spokes-Scottie of Alexandria’s holiday season, and register to win a winter shopping spree in Alexandria valued in excess of $2,000.

Stuffed toy versions of Alex are available for purchase at any of the shops participating in the “Find Alex” shopping contest and also at the Ramsay House Visitors Center, 221 King Street, in Old Town. The toy Alex wears a commemorative medallion tied with a Scottish tartan ribbon and comes in two sizes, selling for $14 and $25. Additionally, the ACVA will sell its third annual, original historic Alexandria holiday ornament at the Ramsay House. The ornament, which sells for $12, depicts a snowy Alexandria scene by designer Diane Gray.

New this year is a picturesque snow globe with a snowy fa�ade of Old Town Alexandria with a miniature Alex set against historic townhouses. The snow globe sells for $29.95, and is also available for sale at the Ramsay House Visitors Center.
