City Sponsors Food and Toy Drive

The City of Alexandria is sponsoring a food and toy drive at the Alexandria Adult Day Services Center, 1108 Jefferson St., from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm on Monday, Dec. 13, through Friday, Dec. 17. All food donations will benefit the Alexandrians Involved Ecumenically (ALIVE!) family independence program. Toy donations will be given to the Office on Women’s Domestic Violence Program to be distributed.

The event is sponsored by the City’s Department of Human Services, Office of Aging and Adult Services, the Successful Aging Advisory Committee and the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities.
