Police Seek Rape Suspect;
Suitland Man Wanted for Assaulting Acquaintance


Alexandria police are seeking Cecil Stanley Johnson for sexually assaulting a 39-year-old Alexandria woman. Johnson is considered a fugitive and Alexandria Crimesolvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to his apprehension.

On October 2, 2003, Johnson arrived at the victim’s home in the 500 block of North Fairfax Street. He tricked the victim, an acquaintance, into letting him inside. He then struck her in the face and forced her into the bedroom where he raped her.

Cecil Stanley Johnson is described as a black male, 48 years old, 5'6" tall and weighing 165 pounds. He has black and grey hair and brown eyes. He has no known address and is believed to be living in his car, a white, four-door 1995 Dodge Spirit with D.C. license plates BV 3859. Johnson has been known to frequent the area around Suitland Liquors in 4700 block of Suitland Road. He may also be working in that area.
