Nannie J. Lee Pool, 1108 Jefferson St., Nicholas Colasanto Pool, 2704 Mount Vernon Ave., and John Ewald Pool, 4500 Duke St., are scheduled to close Friday, Aug. 13. Charles Houston Pool, 901 Wythe St. is closed for repairs. Old Town Pool, 1605 Cameron St., and Warwick Pool, 3301 Landover St., are scheduled to remain open until Labor Day, Sept. 6, with the following schedule: Old Town Pool: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon to 7 pm; Warwick Pool: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday noon to 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm. Admission fees to the large outdoor pools are $1 for children 7 - 17 and adults 60 and older, and $2 for adults 18 - 59. Don’t want to worry about the weather? The Dr. Robert S. Rixse Memorial Indoor Pool at the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, 3210 King St., is open year-round, Monday through Thursday, 6 am to 9:45 pm, Fridays, 6 am to 7:45 pm, and weekends, 8 am to 6:45 pm. The Rixse Pool is scheduled to close for maintenance on Monday, Sept. 6, and reopen Tuesday, Sept. 14. Admission for City residents is $3 for youth and seniors (60+) and $5 for ages 16 and older and $8 for all ages of non-residents. Season passes for Old Town and Warwick Pools may be purchased at the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center.
